Social Power, Privilege and Difference Online Class


Are you frustrated because your voice isn't being heard or you are not being taken seriously? Please join the Center for Persons with Disabilities at USU for this exciting 8-week online class being offered August 5 through September 29 on Social Power, Privilege and Difference. The purpose of this class is to help you become more aware of your individual power and how you can use that power to advocate for yourself as well as others. Fee is $25. Exhibit: " Woman Speaking to Women: The Political Art of Nina Allender"


An exhibit of eight pieces of cartoons and other work by Nina Allender, the Suffragist art director and chief cartoonist. The exhibit includes The Suffragist reproductions and photographs. Visit the museum Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm and the first Saturday of the month 10 am - 2 pm.

Museum + Music - Transnational Landscapes: Classical Indian Music of the Hindustani Traditions:
5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. in the Caine Gallery

Welcoming master sitarist Pt. Deobrat Mishra and tabla virtuoso Prashant Mishra, this concert will explore the traditions of Hindustani music as they live in our modern world. At the same time contemporary visual works from LatinX artists and the early twentieth century artist Stanton MacDonald-Wright (whose work draws on Japanese artistic traditions) will invite audiences to consider a cultural landscape created irrespective of national borders, one which is truly transnational.
