Employers are looking for individuals with the right soft skills such as critical thinking/problem solving, communication, and digital technology. What are you doing now to develop and practice those skills?
Your career development team has created an opportunity for students based on the NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) Career Readiness Competencies. This includes eight competencies that employers consistently emphasize as essential to new college hires. Come to this event for the launch of the program and learn how you can develop and articulate these skills!

This workshop will walk you through how to set up and complete your profile, strategize your job and internship search, connect with the right employers, and more.

LinkedIn (HH 260): LinkedIn has 575+ million users, with more than 260 million users logging in each month. This can seem daunting, however, if you're not utilizing LinkedIn in ways to help you get noticed by the employers and companies you're pursuing. Come to this workshop to learn how to network with alumni, build your personal brand, research your top companies, complete your profile, and more.

Informational Interviews (HH 320): An informational interview can be one of the most valuable sources for career exploration, preparation, and networking. It presents an opportunity for an intimate and flexible inside view of a job and company. Come to this workshop to learn best practices and strategies on everything from set up, execution, and follow up.
