The 25th Arrington Lecture will be presented by Richard White, Professor of American History at Stanford University. White is an American history known for his scholarship on the American West, Native American history and railroads. He will speak on "What the Railroad will Bring: the Promise and Reality of the Transcontinental Railroads." Also sponsored by University Libraries and USU Religious Studies Program.

Auto/Biography Writers' Workshop presented by the Mountain West Center

Workshop/Training

The Mountain West Center and Evans Biography Awards present a Writers' Workshop for auto/biography. This workshop is for novice biographers, seasoned family historians, and experienced writers. Participants will attend a keynote address by Dr. Patrick Mason and can choose two of the four workshops offered. Lunch and materials will be provided.
