Tanner Talk Series Panel: "The First Amendment: Its Legacy and Continuing Value," with Utah Justice Paige Petersen

The Tanner Talk Series is pleased to host the First Amendment Celebration, in honor of the 230th Anniversary of the Submission of the Bill of Rights to the States of Ratification. The Tanner Talk Panel will include Utah Supreme Court Justice Paige Petersen, University of Law Law Professor RonNell Andersen Jones, and Thomas Terry, a professor of Journalism and Communication. A reception will follow in ECC 205 & 207. The event is free and open to the public.

On Sept. 26, Tara McPherson will present her lecture "Platforming Hate: The Internet and the Rise of Hate Online." She is professor and chair of the Division of Cinema & Media Studies, Media Arts + Practice Division, at University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
