Mathematics- Level III/IV Endorsement: Endorsement
This endorsement is issued by the Utah Office of Education.
To teach mathematics in grades 7-12, a teacher must possess a current Utah Educator License with an elementary or secondary area of concentration and the correct mathematics endorsement.
Inservice teachers seeking Level III and Level IV mathematics endorsements should contact Eric Rowley, Director of USU's Mathematics Endorsement Project.
Degree programs leading to teaching licensure and the Level IV Mathematics endorsement include the undergraduate programs: Mathematics Education Major and the Mathematics and Statistics Composite Teaching Major, and graduate programs: Master of Mathematics (Mathematics and Statistics Department) or the Master of Secondary Education (TEAL).
